The Militia (aka “MILFOR”)

Founded by “General” Ozymandias Kirtap after the defeat of local Taliban, the rise of Pasha Ubez, and his immediate assassination by Kirtap himself, the Militia was one of the early 21st Century’s strongest and longest fighting forces, drawing a diverse group of multinational forces bent on finding a broken country with resources and exploiting it for gain. Preceding such movements as ISIS and ESOE, MILFOR surged across Afghanistan, establishing a kingdom… before being dislodged between COFOR and Qarzimi forces angry at a failed attempt to create a war between them. Almost instantly he appeared in Azermenajan, ready to dislodge the existing government, seemingly unaware of the ethnic conflict that was about to cause- but at all instances, rising above it (with it? in spite of it?) ultimately forming the “Kingdom of Kirtapalot” staffed with his “Knights of Kirtapalot.” It all seems so distant now, but there was a time that for many years, the threat of a new MILFOR attack or atrocity kept AGENCY types awake at night around the world. At times, a Transparently evil movement, it seems almost happily cartoonish compared to ISIS and ESOE of nowadays; neither of which raise the orphans they create (Kirtapalot’s Kidz Kamp) or invest in a space program (Kirtap’s Space program) or otherwise reach for a higher purpose, even if that purpose was at times hard for anyone else to see. Hell, for all the damage he had wrought, his forces were among the first to stand against ESOE when they invaded eastern Azermenajan.
MILFOR splintered after a serious betrayal- Kirtap was arrested by his lieutenants and handed over to the forces of Free Zigonia, where he was put into custody before his followers revolted. He was last seen escaping prison towards Tblisi, Georgia, but has laid low ever since, likely with billions of stolen pre-bitcoin, pre-covid inflation dollars in some paradise... or perhaps stalking some battlefield, still chasing that thrill without the burdens of being a god-king.
Before consolidating to GREEN uniforms, MILFOR had been known to wear tan occasionally, and even a mix of civilian/ethnic clothing. Insignia changed over time.
